  2. Interesting choice, Ben. I have always thought that risible had a connotation of being something that one would laugh at, as in not take seriously. e.g. "The idea that Ben might fail a course was risible." It has always seemed to me that to say something is risible is a bit of a put down. Do you have that sense, or just the sense that it's comical and funny?
